Fall 24: All the World’s a Stage
One unexpected and not entirely unpleasant side effect of the past few years is that going out has started to feel like a performance. We don’t mean that in a bad way–there’s just a sense of drama in the air, an appreciation for how truly special it is to gossip over cocktails in the shelter of a bar booth or lock eyes with a stranger over the pool table at your local dive. Every outing–be it a date, a dog walk, or a DMV trip–is a reminder that life is short, which is terrible and beautiful all at once.
This fall, it’s our honor to dress you for the show of your life. We want getting ready to feel charged with that backstage thrill, like you’re dressing for an audience–whether the adoring crowd is your crush, your coworkers, or your bodega sandwich guy. A cow-print midi dusted with fringe is talent show-ready, while a puff-sleeved babydoll dress bedecked in Botticelli-inspired Venusian hounds is sure to elicit applause. A gauzy floor-length gown is a spectacle in itself, even before you notice it’s covered in dissected frogs. A practical puffer jacket is elevated by a casino’s worth of playing cards, bringing high roller energy to the most banal of errands. A plaid knit matching set balances prim details with a cheeky high hemline, bringing to any occasion a fantastic sort of Mother’s little show poodle vibe. These are pieces to costume you, keep you warm, and give you the confidence to take center stage. Take a bow!
