New York Fashion Week FW 24: Best in Show
For this season’s New York Fashion Week, we teamed up with Susan Alexandra to put on Best in Show; a dog show starring a pack of our favorite people and a parade of rescue dogs courtesy of Animal Haven & Muddy Paws Rescue. Held at the storied St. Ann’s Warehouse in Dumbo, Jaqueline Novak and Kate Berlant hosted and Bridget Everett was our esteemed judge.
We told Tony nominated set designer, Brett Banakis that we wanted a classic dog show set if it took place in heaven with a touch of the fun parts of hell, and he gave us exactly that.
Our glorious cast in order of appearance was:
Larry Owens, Robby Hoffman, Gabby Windey, Natalie Morales, Naomi Fry, Zoë Chao, Djouliet Amara, Chris Fleming, Rick Antonoff, Shira Antonoff, Ana Gasteyer, David Korn, Cat Cohen, Chris Laker, Katie Sturino, Nikki M. James, Kimiko Glenn, Tavi Gevinson, Will Brill, Atsuko Okatsuka, Blu DeTiger, Alison Roman, JoAni Johnson, Micaela Diamond, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Dylan Mulvaney and Sandra Bernhard.
And, about half of the dogs have been adopted and we’re continuing to work to find homes for the rest!
